Events in the Hunter

The Hunter Valley provides visitors with many wonderful events throughout the year.

For the wine lover the annual Spirit of the Vine will be held on the weekend of 23rd October with the release of the 2010 whites and a fair bit of eating and drinking.

We host an annual folk festival, Folk in Broke (5th, 6th & 7th November) and the famous Broke Village Fair (11th September) with a vintage car display held on the second Sunday of September each year.

Each autumn The Broke Fordwich region hosts a celebration of Italian culture - a Little Bit of Italy in Broke (10th & 11th April)

In nearby Pokolbin - a 10 minute drive - there is the famous Jazz in the Vines at Tyrrell's Vineyard on the last weekend of October, Opera in the Vineyards at Wyndham Estate also in October, Lovedale Long Lunch each May, a whole series of concerts in the open air during summer & autumn, the Feast of the Olive in September ...
