The Broke Fordwich Wine Region will host the Spirit of the Vine Festival on 23-24 October 2010. Now in its 8th year the festival has become a signature event on the Wine lovers calendar offering visitors the perfect excuse to discover the great wines and rural charms of one of the oldest wine growing regions in Australia.
The Spirit of the Vine Festival is all about ‘hands on’, with a fantastic program offering visitors the opportunity to meet, taste, experience & learn directly from many of the regions award winning vignerons, winemakers, chefs and farm gate producers. The weekend festival provides the perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy and experience the unique wines of Broke Fordwich.
The festival will start in the village of Broke where visitors pick up their souvenir wine glass and map and follow the flags around to the 11 participating venues. Wine tasting, food and more will be available at all venues.
