Barefoot at Broke

Barefoot is set on private 23 acres cradled by the Yengo mountain range with a commanding position on top of a hill overlooking the Broke/Fordwich wine region and provides guests with complete serenity and tranquillity to relax in the countryside. Without leaving the property, you can find your favourite picnic spots overlooking the pond with views of the neighbouring vineyards and Brokenback mountain ranges beyond with lots of wildlife including kangaroos, wombats and native birds.

The house caters for families, group of friends and couples. There is plenty of spacious inviting indoor and outdoor areas to find your own space. Barefoot can be booked either as 2 bedrooms (for up to 4 guests) or 3 bedrooms (for up to 6 guests). The main bedroom is luxuriously appointed with an en-suite and walk in robe and has sliding doors opening to the expansive entertaining area. The two other large bedrooms in opposite wings of the house ensure privacy and guests can come together in the centrally located spacious (high ceiling) open plan living, dining and kitchen area adjoining an outdoor entertaining deck. There is also a spiral staircase leading up to the loft area which you can use as a working space or reading/games/kids area.

For those wanting to enjoy home cooked meals, Barefoot comes complete with a large gourmet kitchen with all the modern equipment and appliances and has a long island bench with bar sitting area to entertain. You can relax in the living room by the wood burning fireplace in winter months and the house is fully cooled by reverse cycle air-conditioning in all rooms during the warmer months to ensure all year-round comfort of our guests.

Your furry friend is most welcome with prior approval. Barefoot is the perfect getaway to escape the everyday hustle and bustle and enjoy the ambience of a country property wrapped in luxury and inviting you to return whenever you visit the Hunter Valley.
